Prior to joining the Law and Internet Foundation, Gergana Aleksandrova started her legal career as a legal associate for a private bailiff, where she worked for three years and gained broad experience in the enforcement process. Her next professional step led her to the corporate environment, working as a junior legal advisor for two years in a multinational pharmaceutical company. At the end of 2021, she joined an international Intellectual Property (IP) company, where her interest in the IP field was born and where she gained experience in the trademark registration process, patent filing, validation of European patents, and in customs and police law enforcement. She joined the Law and Internet Foundation team in January 2023 as a legal expert.
